Recover your stolen car in 10 minutes. |
 |
Jim
recently purchased a Televoke-enabled security
system for his new BMW. Jim parks his car every
night outside his house on 15th Street. At 11pm
one night he receives simultaneous phone calls
on his home phone and his cell phone that his
car alarm has been triggered, and that his car
is now traveling southbound on Market Street
at 45 miles an hour. Jim looks out the window
to verify that the car is not where he parked
it, then via the touchtone pad on his phone,
he sends a command that will cut the engine
when the car goes under 5mph at the next stop
light or intersection. Jim stays online monitoring
the location of his vehicle until the system
informs him that his BMW is now stationary at
1967 Market Street. He calls the police to notify
them of the location, and then walks down Market
Street to meet the police and recover his car
all in a matter of 10 minutes. |

Find a missing computer server. |
 |
Jane is a network operations manager for a large
manufacturing company with facilities throughout
the United States. Many of these locations are
not well secured, and she has experienced repeated
theft of computer and network servers, particularly
at a couple of locations. Jane had Televoke-enabled
boards installed in all workstations and servers,
and created a Geo-Fence so that she will be
notified when a computer is moved outside a
certain area. At 11pm on a Sunday night, she
receives a page that a server has broken the
Geo-Fence at one of her problem locations. She
gets on the web and starts tracking its location.
At the same time she calls the plant manager
who also has received a page from the Televoke
NOC. They both follow the device on the web
map until it finally stops. The web page provides the
address location. They call the police to recover
the server and the thief is arrested. |

Know where your workers are anytime during
the day. |
 |
Bill is an owner/manager of a small plumbing
company with 10 plumbers on payroll. He has
problems locating his people when a customer
has an urgent problem, and also believes some
of his workers are taking long lunches and dealing
with personal business during business hours.
He decides to install Televoke-enabled tracking
devices on all of the vehicles. Via the web,
he is able to continuously monitor on a map
the location of all of his workers. He is also
able to get pager and email alerts when any
of his workers stray outside their territory,
or are stationary for more than 2 hours. When
there is a customer emergency, he is also able
to send a page to the plumber who is closest
to the location. Since implementing the new
system, his worker productivity has increased
30%. |
